JOHN M's
Opinion: Colon showed up to spring training
this season overweight, which could lead to training issues and perhaps even,
an overall lack of production out of the pitcher. If Colon can overcome this
weight problem, get in shape and back on track, he should be an intrical
part of the Indians starting rotation for some time to come. While he may
have to wait some time to claim the number one starter's position (that would
seem to belong to either Jaret Wright or whomever the Indians sign down the
stretch drive), Colon should be successful, due in no small part, playing
with the offensive and defensive lineup that the Indians boast.
TYPO's Opinion:
There has been a lot said about this young man, that he is the
next Roger Clemens, that he will become the ace Cleveland needs. I
hope both come true. If he can get a little bit more control, he will
be there. The Indians seem to have two good young pitchers, lets see
if they can hold on to them and I can have the chance to see them both flourish
into aces with the Indians. It seems that he has had injury problems,
and we still seem to be waiting for another good year out of him. Maybe
he needs to mature more, or he will never make what was expected of him.

Please note that I am not any of these players,
nor I am associated with any of them (I wish!!!). Just a fan like the
rest of you :) I would also like to thank everyone that has
emailed me regarding my pages, it is great hearing from other fans, and some
of you have been daft enough to stay in contact!
Of course the biggest thanks
for all goes to John for taking the time to
research and write
these pages, and really do all the work for me! I just take all the
credit... well unless he does it wrong! THANX
